was selected from nearly 2000 entries and shown at The London Group’s 85th Open Exhibition at Copeland Gallery, Peckham, in November 2023.
The London Group Open 2023, presented artworks from the Group’s members and selected non-members. The result was a display featuring established and emerging artists, all working at the forefront of contemporary practice.
The exhibited works offer thought-provoking insights into various themes and subject matters including, identity and belonging, consumerism and waste, socio-political issues, the relationship between nature and the manmade, and intersections of technology and humanity, among others.
Founded in 1913, the London Group has played a pivotal role in nurturing the careers of many of Britain’s best-known artists. The Open exhibition stands as a testament to The London Group’s commitment to supporting artists and providing a platform for visual art practice. It presents a distinguished opportunity for artists to exhibit alongside the Group’s members, in one of London’s most prestigious contemporary gallery spaces.
